Fatlace: Word Up!

It feels like forever since we went drifting. All Star Bash was almost two months ago. When Fatlace came to invite us to the last Word Up of 2013, we could not pass up on the chance. 

It's been a while since All Star Bash and a skidpad-style event like Word Up is a great way for us to shake out the cobwebs. 

Nate doesn't disappoint with the smoke. And of course, the Big Country Labs wing stands tall. He was laying down big smoke and looking like a cool-guy all day long. 

 

Law was not able to take his car on-track for a long time. Motor gremlins has kept him from pushing his car hard at previous events, but he was able to push hard this weekend. So much that people reported he was spraying tons of sparks all over the track at the end of the day. 

We haven't seen Drew on-track for months! Chris's old Gram Lights look great! Both of his bumpers didn't stay on the car through the entire event, but thats when you know a Corolla is being driven properly. Relentlessly hard, and as fast as you possibly can.

Nate likes to give girls ride alongs. Sorry, he's taken. 

Sherry arrived at the track later in the day, but she of course turned on the smoke immediately and her 2JZ-GTE was running strong and leaving people behind constantly. 

Tight tandems all day. Look but don't blink. Blink and you die. 

We're just having fun. That's what Word Up! and what drifting is all about. This event had the most amount of people from the Bay Area's drift community come out all in one day, which made it special for very many reasons.
