It's not typical to bring racecars or track cars to car shows. The hours of abuse on the track do not fair well to show car-level paint. We build our track cars for the track. Form follows function. The goal is to have a car that performs.

These past two weekends, we decided to step out of our normal routine. We hit up the BLOX Open house in Fremont as well as Wekfest SF. Wekfest is Northern California's premier car show and we thought it would be a great chance to put the MINT Drift name out to new eyes. We joined the guys at Limitless Motorsports and rolled over to the San Jose Convention Center. Warning: possible non-drift content.

We staged the cars the day before the show. Unloading and staging went very smoothly. We've had some experience with car shows before, and the guys that run the show definitely know how to keep the process stress-free. But that doesn't mean that we weren't scrambling around to get all the stickers applied at the last minute.

This was a great chance for Chris to show off his perfect engine bay and the awesome 20V 4A-GE that powers his Corolla. Car N Bike Moto really went all-out when they first painted his car.

This is also a great chance for Chris to show off his new Rota RKR wheels. Rota gracefully sponsored a set of wheels for Chris and his amazing Corolla AE86 coupe.

Walking around, we spotted this little gem. It is a first generation Nissan Silvia. Fully restored and the car looks amazing. Sometimes you realize that there are cars out there that no one knows about.

And as we walked around, we saw all the show cars and their perfect paint and immaculate interiors. It is refreshing to see cars that aren't broken and full of off-track dirt. Stay tuned for more to come. This weekend was packed with lots of action. Here is a snapshot of the Kyoei USA LS400. This car is simply breathtaking from the Aimgain aero down to the subtle pinstriping and Toyota Crown Majesta fender lights.

After the show was over, there were some amazing opportunities to take some photos of the cars rolling out. Caught this Widebody MR2 rounding the corner. The fitment and stance was seriously crazy. It's so wild that the owner actually drove this up from Southern California for the show.
