To kick off the season, Limitless Motorsports held another great event at Thunderhill Raceway in Willows, CA. The amusingly named Customer Appreciation Trackday, Seriously (C.A.T.S) had a great mix of drift and grip drivers. Even the American Controlled Driving Academy (ACDA) was there holding sessions on the North skidpad. Instructors such as Matt Field, Ryan Kado and Faruk Kugay were teaching a variety of students the fundamentals of drifting. By the lunch, you could see how much they had improved.
The event would kick off MINT's season as well. The team came together to enjoy some fulltrack and skidpad action.
SlamBurglars Harry and Kevin making sure that Chris's Corolla stands up to their standards. MINT would like to thank SlamBurglars Harry, Kevin and Michael for helping do the tech inspections in the morning.
The MINT headquarters for the day. Eating, napping, laughing... The trailer and the Thunderhill canopies were a great place for us to take a break between sessions.
There is always so much stuff we have to bring to the track. A nice pile of wheels including some Enkei RPF1s, MB Battles and Volk CE28N's.
Carnage is always on Alex's trackday checklist. The team did bring home some damage. Sherry had wrecked her axles and Paul made tap with with the wall.
Thank you to our friends at SlamBurglars, FKNFamous, Team Feintheart, and carsxhype that came out to support the event. Thumbs up to GarageStar for sponsoring the epic HardPark challenge during lunch.
C.A.T.S was another awesome event that surely will be talked about for a long time! We can't wait for the Pro-Am and Sonoma Drift Competition series to start!
