As the year comes to a close, we visit Infineon Raceway for Winter Jam. For the second year, Sonoma Drift held this amazing event on the Formula D course. It is an amazing chance for all drivers to experience this course. It is also a great way for spectators to see the course that was once on the Formula D calendar.

MINT started the day early and the rain still pouring.

With the rain coming down hard, Sherry fashioned a makeshift roof. It lasted right up until initiation. After then, it became a wonderful confetti flag.

Even the wet made the Formula D pros have trouble, but right before qualifying there was a bit of sun and the track dried up nicely. All the pro drivers began to lay down some crowd pleasing runs with plenty of smoke.

The dry let MINT to take more aggressive lines and entries.

Alex loves those long e-brake initiations.

But as qualifying began, the clouds came back over and brought the challenging wet conditions back.

As the top battles came together, our friend Faruk piloting the "Chrissle" went up against team buddy Matt Madrigali. Awesome driving from both of them! Matt took home the event win.

Alex was paired up with Will Griffith and it almost ended badly. Will went to take third in the competition!

Thanks to all the awesome drivers that attended the event and thanks to racetrack for having this event for the second year. Sonoma Drift is growing and we are glad to support!
